Sometimes I hate extra small

Sometimes I just hate shopping secondhand clothes online. Most cool stuff is always available in only XS or S. I mean it´s bad enough to find something you love and not being able afford it. Vintage shops need more clothes available in size M and especially L and XL. Or at least the option to shop by size so I can filter out all the small stuff... I´m sure the bigger sizes are out there (Ebay...), but I just have trouble finding them. Anyone else have this problem? Do you have any tips for online vintage shopping by size? Thank goodness at least bags, most hats and jewelry are size-free.

  1. Very true, it's annoying if you have to browse through 10 pages without knowing what sizes they are. Aavavintage.com write out sizes in the title though, but it's the only vintage shop I know of that do so. It's something everyone should think about!

  3. I know, it's so frustrating, i'd love to buy more vintage stuff, but they only seem to cater for tiny people. It's not fair!

  5. Ah Berlin!! I so need to visit Berlin. I´ve wanted to come there for years. I hear you´ve got loads of small indie fashion stores :D

  6. But big clothes are generally not the problem. At least not for me. You can always sew clothes to be smaller, adjust the fit to look perfect. And I feel most clothes look ok if they are one size too big, It´s fashion now. But they don´t look very stylish if the size is one size too small...

  7. I dunno, I find it to be quite easy to find vintage clothes on ebay in my size (XL). Its just a matter of knowing your own measurements and knowing how you want your clothes to fit on you. I've seen things with a 46 inch bust measurement listed as a size M/L, so I don't really trust standard sizes.

  8. I'd have said it's frustrating to look for small enough sizes and never find :| Local secondhand clothes or Finnish designer clothes do not come in XS, and online XS clothes are all too often tailored for the tall and skinny, not for the small.

  9. I feel your pain! This happens to me all the time, and I've never been a small so it makes shopping quite dreadful. My close friend is an extra small and everything vintage I found, clothing wise, she always fits into so easily. It drives me crazy!
