Should. Would. Could. Fusion clothing.

Alexander Wang SS10 wool sweat pants

Making one piece of fashion by using parts from two different clothes is not something new or revolutionary, but it is one of the simplest ways to refashion your clothes. Alexander Wang has had quite many inspirational pieces in his current and past collections that are great examples on how this should be done. By combining comfort with classics. Like this canvas (could be wool+leather as well) and nylon jacket. By taking out the sleeves and replacing the back with a more functional material the whole garment changes to a more modern look. Or these pants seen above. The top part is basic mens suit trousers, but by replacing the legs (note curvy seam!) with sweat pants it just becomes something complitely different. Effortless city chic.

I´ll find you more examples when I find some decent photos.
