I first heard of body harnesses being used for fashion back in 2009. It has been wonderful to see a marginal accessory like this morph it´s way to maintream fashion and most of all away from the dark and studded bondage/S&M scene and more to credible chic lady wear. Body harnesses come in many forms. Most you´ve seen have been made from either leather or chain but also other materials are used. It's all about how you style them. Leather harnesses look best with masculine blazers, vests and shirts, but also with ladylike skirts. Make sure the harness design is simple and clean and leather color matches your clothes (example, white, pastel). Body harnenness made from chain are like jewelry. They can be worn pretty much with anything. And don´t worry if you can´t make one yourself! Below a few handmade body harnesses from my favorites that are available at Etsy.
