I´m always on the lookout for new creative party themes. It´s going to be a while before spring comes to Helsinki so this looks like it could be fun and practical - The Ugly Sweater Party. Available at any secondhand shop for a few bucks. Ugly (80´s mostly) sweaters make exellent material for refashioning. They are the nuclear waste of secondhand clothing so anything you can come up with for reusing and refashioning them is wellcome! Let me know if you have any ideas. Last winter I made a tutorial on how to make a knit dress and sweater cape from several ugly sweaters.
