Trashion Film glamour by Petteri Hemmilä



Finnish fashion designer Petteri Hemmilä surprised me today with some lovely pictures of a top and a dress sewed from filmtape. How cool are these! Yet an another sewable material that can be used in making fashion. These remind me of the works of my trashion idol Mr. Marting Margiela. I´m so looking forward so seeing this project live.

    What a brilliant idea, there are so many things that can be turned into fashion. I love the vintage gloves that Margiela transformed into a waistcoat and the fragments of porcelain one he did too. This designer looks like he's following in Margeilas wonderful footsteps!
